Great news, folks! According to an interview he did with MTV, Dane Cook is looking to expand his reach in Hollywood. Instead of starring in shitty comedies, Cook is angling to star in shitty action movies.

Believe it, Cook teased, saying he’s getting ready to give the Superfinger to crime in “Dead Already,” a buddy cop movie “in the vein of ‘Lethal Weapon.’”

“It’s got a really interesting take-off from the typical buddy cop movie which has been done in so many ways. This definitely had an element that was like, ‘Wow, I’ve never seen that before,’” he said of the script, which he’s currently looking at as a starring vehicle. “You got some crazy stunts and action sequences, but you got some comedy in there too.

Wow! You've never seen crazy stunts and action sequences before? You're right, Dane. That has never been done in an action movie. You don't even listen to your self speak, do you, dipshit? But if there's one thing I can guaran-damn-tee, you human-sized gooch, it's that as long as you're in the film, there's absolutely no hope that it will contain actual comedy. The man needs a laugh track for his freakin' stand-up performance; he's been genetically engineered to kill laughter.
