Oh Hell No!

oh0128.jpgOh Hell No: Colloquial. Expression used to convey disgust or outrage, incorporating pun with actresses last name.

Sometimes I wonder if actresses purposely pick out the ugliest dress they can find to wear to these events, just so they'll be talked about the next day. Well congratulations, Sandra Oh. I'm talking about you all right -- and I'm saying you're the gift that nobody wanted. Just so you're cool with it.

Considering the look on Oh's face, I think she did do this on purpose. Holy shit, I just noticed the POCKETS...

Sandra Oh is getting an amazing amount of flack for this dress - keep in mind it is a stylized version of a traditional Korean dress. If you look closely enough at the brocade, you can see the embroidered symbols. It isn't brilliant, but then again, I have yet to see a picture that gives you the detail.

Is she preggers too? All that voluminousness above the belly region. I like the grayish colored part but the whole effect is sort of 'gay volcano eruption'.

Here's a picture of how the clothing this dress represents: hanbok. It may not be the usual ceremony fare, but it accomplishes its task fairly well.

I think that's more to distract you from her broken face.

I'm so gonna start a band called 'Gay Volcano Explosion' now.

My real problem with this is that it makes her tits look like they're located near her navel-never a good look for anyone

uhhhh...it's called a hanbok, folks (well, a stylized version of it). i expect more from the enlightened ones on this site. don't feel bad though- the fug girls did the same thing (although they at least admitted their mistake). now let's all sing "it's a small world"...

seriously folks, i think "uhhh..." summed it up nicely. its a frickin homage to the traditional korean dress, and i think she's pretty ballsy for wearing it to what is probably going to be the most publicized award show this year. props to sandra oh for showing her pride for her culture. everyone lay off. and the traditional hanbok can be quite gorgeous, especially with the silks used. just cuz its a different silhouette doesn't mean it's heinous.
