Cleans Up Well: (colloquial) Someone who is normally disgusting for some reason who manages to present themselves well such as by bathing, grooming, or dressing nicely.

It took me the longest time to figure out who this lady standing here next to George Clooney was. At first I thought maybe I had seen her in a movie or something; but then I just tried picturing her wearing considerably less clothing, with a couple of wieners in each hand and her face buried in some chick's muff. And then I was like, "Ahhh, that's right. It's Sarah Larson." That's a little something I like to refer to as "conceptual problem solving."
