For the New York (and blessedly final) "pink carpet" premiere of Sex and the City, the catty whores coordinated their outfits for their big last Hurrah. Except, oopsie! Somebody forgot to tell the redhead! It's just like the last day of junior high all over again, when all your friends bought coordinated T-shirts to wear and no one let you in on the secret. Don't worry Cynthia, also just like in junior high, in a week no one will remember or give a shit about any of this. Enjoy the glory while you can, ladies.

Fuck off with the "out to pasture" crap. What are women over 40 supposed to do? Die? Get turned into vapour like in Logan's Run? Wear burkas? Stay inside? At least they actually DO something, instead of commenting on other people who actually do something. Get a life.

I completely agree, Annette. The only offense these women have committed is having played the leads in an insanely successful comedy. They also look a fuck of a lot better than many male actors their age.
I completely respect the right of women over 40 to keep trying. We should also respect that participating and being at the the 'top of their game' is the same thing. It's a competitive world out there and trying these four ladies are trying to appear much younger than they are.
Is anybody asking why in the movie they appear to only be happy when they have a man? It seemed to go against the tone fo the show.
