FYI: This year's National Movie Critic's Suicide Day has been set for Friday, August 29th. Do yourself a favor, critics, and get it over with early in the morning.
Fuck. I can not believe there's going to be another Movie Movie. I need to go find a straight razor.
Way back in 1976, I watched a little movie called "Drive-In" at a drive in. It was about a little redneck town much like the one I lived in, and the only things to do in town were go to the roller rink or the drive in. The movie playing at the drive in was called "Disaster 76." It started with a plane flying in a thunderstorm. The plane is hit by lightning and crashes into a skyscraper. The bad storm also starts a tidal wave which washes all the sharks ashore, etc. etc. The disaster movie within a movie was actually pretty funny. The movie itself wasn't.
Oh, crap.
