Comic Con, although I would have loved to attend that particular VMA for obvious reasons. Big No-No to the Oscars because they have the incredible power to make funny people painfully unfunny.

Comic Con. It is the only place that a 35 year old mother of two can dress up like her favorite teen mutant and pose maniacally like her tattoo of said mutant. It would be a joy. Even the possibility of exploring the impact of gay Canadian speedster, Northstar. Comparing near mint copies of Heroes for Hope...I'll stop. Bias.
Also - I'd be rendered invisible at VMA's for obvious reasons and get trampled in a mountian dew/red bull line up, and the tang of desperation/ennui/and hunger would make the Academy thing a little too depressing.
